THE BEAUTY OF INTOLERANCE

As a society, we can be quite intolerant. And for good reason. We don’t tolerate a range of attitudes and behaviours that are either harmful or unfair, or both. So, let’s be under no illusions — intolerance is great!

But the gay lobby likes to use the label of ‘intolerance’ to shut down debate. If anyone disagrees with them, or presents a narrative that challenges their own, they will use the strategy of character assassination instead of actually examining the argument. It’s a quick and effective way to silence the opposition because nobody wants to be seen as intolerant.

However, if you’re silent on the issue of gay marriage even if you disagree with it, your silence is seen as assent. In other words, you’ve been bullied into keeping your ideas to yourself.

But the next time someone does that to you, back yourself. Don’t just let anyone label you unfairly. Because everyone knows that some things are worth being intolerant about.
